Terms of service
Effective date: October 1, 2026
These terms are the deal between you and Spacebar Company OÜ ("Pluma", "we", "us"), registered at Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia, when you use Pluma at https://pluma.so, its API, and its MCP server.
By creating an account, connecting an assistant, or using the API, you agree to these terms. If you use Pluma for a company or a client, you agree for them too, and you confirm you can.
What Pluma is
Pluma is a headless CMS. You define your content model, write and publish content, and your website reads it through an API. Your AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or another MCP client) can do the same work for you through Pluma's MCP server.
Your account
- Give a real name and an email you control.
- Keep your password and tokens secret. You're responsible for what happens with them.
- One person per account. Invite teammates; don't share a login.
- Tell us right away if you think someone got into your account: team@page-bird.com.
Sign-up is closed while Pluma is in early access. You can ask for access at /request-access. We decide who gets in.
Your content
It's yours. You own everything you put in Pluma. We don't claim any rights over it.
You give us permission to store, copy, process and serve your content only as needed to run Pluma for you: save it, show it in the dashboard, serve it through the API and file links, send it to the assistants you connect, and back it up.
You're responsible for it. You confirm you have the right to use and publish everything you upload, including photos and personal data about other people.
You can take it with you. Export a whole site as JSON at any time (GET /api/v1/spaces/:space_id/export, or the export_space tool).
Files are public by link. Anyone with a file's link can open it, even before the entry that uses it is published. Don't upload anything you need to keep private.
Connected AI assistants
When you connect an assistant, you let it act on the site you pick, with your role's permissions.
- It acts for you. What it creates, edits, publishes or deletes counts as your action. Pluma records it in the activity under the assistant's name.
- It can make mistakes. AI assistants can misread a request and change the wrong thing. Everything they create starts as a draft. Review before you publish. Version history lets you restore earlier versions of an entry.
- Its provider has its own terms. OpenAI, Anthropic and others handle what their assistant sees under their own terms and privacy policies. We don't control them.
- You can cut it off any time. Revoke it in Agents. It stops working right away.
Your team
The site's owner controls the site: who's on the team, their roles, and the content. If you're invited to someone else's site, the owner can change your role or remove you at any time.
An assistant connected by a person can never do more than that person, and loses rights the moment their role goes down.
Acceptable use
Don't use Pluma to:
- break the law, or help someone else break it;
- store or publish content that infringes someone's rights, is illegal, or exploits children;
- host malware, phishing pages, or files meant to harm someone;
- spam, or use Pluma as a general file host or CDN for things unrelated to your sites;
- try to get into accounts, sites or data that aren't yours;
- overload the service, get around rate limits, or probe it for weaknesses without our written permission;
- resell Pluma as your own product without an agreement with us.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. When we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
Limits
Pluma has limits so it stays fast for everyone. Today: 600 API and MCP requests per minute per key or agent, files up to 20 MB (50 MB for video). Limits can change; the current ones are in the docs.
Price
Pluma is free during early access. Each new site starts a 14-day trial, but billing isn't live and nothing is charged yet.
Before we start charging, we'll publish prices and tell you by email and in the dashboard at least 30 days ahead. You won't be charged unless you agree to pay.
Availability
We work to keep Pluma running, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Pluma is in early access and changes often. We may change, add or remove features.
We don't offer a service level agreement (SLA) today.
Ending
You can stop any time. Export your sites, then ask us to delete your account at team@page-bird.com. You can delete your sites and your account yourself; see Support.
We can end or suspend your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we shut Pluma down. If we shut Pluma down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice to export your data.
After your account ends, we delete your data as described in the privacy policy.
Disclaimers
Pluma is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that it will be fit for a particular purpose, uninterrupted, or error-free.
We're not responsible for what your AI assistant does with the permissions you gave it, or for how third-party services (your assistant's provider, Netlify, Vercel, your website host) handle your data.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the last 12 months or USD 100.
Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content or your use of Pluma in breach of these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes go to Harju County Court in Tallinn, unless the law of the country you live in gives you the right to go to your own courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll tell you before they take effect. If you keep using Pluma after that, you accept the new terms.
